The object of my desires:
Curtis Collection by Victoria – Smokey Eye Collection
I feel like perfecting the smokey eye would be super easy, if only I had the most expensive products available. There’s something about the smokey eye that screams glamour and glitz – and money. So when I stumbled across this gorgeous collection, I had to remind myself that I did not have $178.50 to spare on just 4 products. But boy – if I did, these little beauties would be mine.
First there’s the Shadow Magnet Eye Primer, which is completely essential to stop your eye makeup settling into your crease or fading.
Then there’s the Signature Shadow Quad, which features jet milled mineral powders in the exclusive confetti design. This little palette comes in 5 options: Smokey Collection (pictured), Midnight Collection, Exotic Collection, London Collection and Runway Collection. The Smokey is my favourite because of the high glam gold – and some of the other options rely quite heavily on magenta/purple shades, which just look like I’ve been punched in the eyes. Those tones do not suit me at all!
Next you have the Eye Liner, and you can choose between the Luxe Liner or the Line Fix Gel Liner. Completely personal preference, but I’d choose the Luxe Liner. Still haven’t got a handle on gel liner yet…
Finally the VX Volume Mascara. With a specially designed, double-sided V shaped brush, it provides intense lengthening and volume, lifting and curling lashes.
Have you tried anything from Curtis Collection? And what are your favourite products to create a smokey eye?
