The Jojoba Company Tuberose & Clementine Body Soufflé

The Jojoba Company Tuberose and Clementine Body Soufflé

So there’s moisturiser, which does what it says on the tin, and then there’s body soufflé. A delicious, luxurious creation with a light, whipped consistency that feeds the skin. It’s packed full of powerhouse ingredients, which we’ll get to in a minute, but it also feels completely decadent when you scoop it out of the tub. Have you ever had marshmallow fluff? Because that’s the exact consistency of The Jojoba Company Tuberose & Clementine Body Soufflé*. It’s like whipped clouds, and I’m not even embarrassed to say that.

It also smells divine, which adds to the luxury. I’d describe it as white floral mixed with musk sticks. The floral is sweet like geranium, but with a smoky undertone, and the musk is heady and decadent. It’s mature without smelling like old lady, which can be a fine line! Sometimes I’ll reapply just because the smell relaxes me, which makes it the perfect body cream to use before bed.

And now, let’s talk about the ingredients. It’s rich in cocoa, shea and mango butters, making it deeply nourishing, hydrating and fast-absorbing, while the jojoba, vitamin E and camellia oils provide an anti-ageing antioxidant boost. The namesake ingredients, tuberose and clementine, have their own unique qualities. Tuberose, which has anti-bacterial and deodorising qualities, is used in aromatherapy for its aphrodisiac effects and calmative properties. Clementine, high in vitamin C with a gentle, toning effect on the skin, has an uplifting scent which is known to improve mood and assist with insomnia. And as a bonus, the combination of clementine and jojoba oil is actually known as a powerful force in preventing stretch marks!

Now my main gripe with this isn’t anything to do with the product – it’s that they’ve used the wrong accent on the packaging! They’ve spelled soufflé as soufflè. It’s correct on the actual tub – but on the website, they don’t even bother with an accent at all. Consistency guys, come on. The amount grammatical errors that I’ve found since starting this blog, I’m considering starting a packaging proofreading business!
