You know those people who can create effortless, catwalk-ready curls with the flick of a wrist? Yeah. I’m not one of those people. If I somehow manage to curl the left side… then I’m guaranteed to ruin the right side, or end up with an unsightly burn! There’s something about the wrist movements that I can never get right – not with a curling wand, curling iron, or a GHD (people who can curl with straighteners are basically wizards, right?)
Then Luxcurly came along and changed everything. Designed by a mother of 3 living in Australia, the auto rotating curling iron has created a simple solution for fast, easy curls. It removes the guesswork. Simply place a small section underneath the clamp, click ‘L’ or ‘R’ to rotate the barrel left or right, and your hair spirals up the wand. Hold for 10-15 seconds, then release the clamp. It’s totally idiot-proof!
It creates curl within seconds. Its auto rotating function means no more manual labor, no more burned and sore hands. And I still feel in control over my hair. – Hanita Adhi, Luxcurly founder & creator
As you can see, the Luxcurly is super easy to control. I’m using the Lux Classic* in this video, which was recommended for my fine hair, but those of you with thicker or longer hair should try the Lux Natural for more polished, bouncy curls. Both products feature a ceramic- and tourmaline-coated barrel plus an LCD temperature display and adjustable heat levels.
Of course, fine hair like mine requires a little more than a great curling iron! To help my curls hold, I begin with Tresemmé Perfectly (un)Done Shampoo to remove dirt, oil and residue whilst giving body and texture. A quick spritz of evo Mister Fantastic Texture Spray* on towel dried hair plumps and adds structure, protecting and preparing my hair so that the curls hold without any damage. I finish by blow drying with the Models Prefer Round Thermal Brush, which offers a ceramic barrel and ionic bristles to distribute heat and eliminate frizz. This combination hasn’t let me down yet!
